Bueno

So yesterday was no bueno. But it was nothing that my new favorite candy bar, Kinder Bueno {pun intended}, couldn't fix. Seriously I may stay in France just for this chocolate bar. Don't worry about it, I'm eating one right now.

AMAZING

Moving on. I had a good sleep, listened to some Christmas music, talked to my mom and I'm feeling so much better {you knew exactly what I needed Grandma!}. I went back to school today after the Toussaint break feeling refreshed and excited to be back in the schools. Unfortunately I am still not loving one of the schools I go to. The children are out of control and the teachers don't speak any English, which is fine because that's why I'm here, but they keep expecting me to wing it and teach an hour lesson. I stand up there thinking, "So, you want me to teach these children how to count. And write the numbers out. In English. Okay." I don't mind having to teach, quite the opposite. I would just like to know that I will be teaching beforehand instead of standing there, once again having the classroom judge my mental stability. Beside that I have a lot of fun and I'm grateful for this experience. One girl came up to me today and whispered in my ear that she drew a picture for me but she forgot it at home.

Adorable.

Also, today it smelled like fall. Isn't that the most wonderful thing in the world? It makes me utterly happy.
