"Farewell, monotonous acquaintances of my childhood."

Today was wonderful! I went to the Luxembourg gardens where I attended a marionette show, watched some men play a game called boule, and just enjoyed a splendid spring day in my favorite city in the world.

The schedule for the marionette shows

The Treasure of the Sultan. Can you see my reflection? Nice.

Me and the other 4-6 year olds thoroughly enjoyed the show. We laughed, some cried {a stuffed tiger made quite the appearance}. It was fantastic.

How beautiful!

They have racks where the people playing boule hang their coats and what not. There is something so romantic about it. My heart!

Intense.

They stand in a ring and throw a metal ball at a bouncy ball trying to hit it... I think this is the point of the game?

There are little go carts that you can rent and have races with.

There are even beehives! It's a magical place.

I think I live the most perfect live right now. Lazing about Paris, eating crêpes, basking in the sun and soaking as much of Paris as I can. Oh how reality is going to be hard to get acquainted with once again.

  2. What an experience! Who needs Disneyland, when you have Paris?! It's Disneyland for the adult especially the sophisticated adult, as you are!
